The meter assign button is currently at 1-2. Ive tried putting the knobs are every volume possible. Im trying to simply using logic with this, and im not getting any kind of tried using just straight guitar into the unit, a pedal going into the guitar, and an acoustic electric guitar. But i did open up Audio/Midi Settings and the global input for my computer is Lexicon Mac USB. ITs not mentioned anywhere in the manual.

Its software control panel for the omega? There isn't one for mac, i don't think. It seems like my problem is that the omega is not getting any kind of signal to the unit. Am i supposed to be getting meter readings even when im not using any software. Remember that if you're recording mono tracks, you'll need to select only the left input channel in your recording software. If the meters on the Omega aren't lighting up, though, it shouldn't be a problem with the usb connection (alone). If it's flashing, the Omega doesn't have a connection to your computer, which means you'll need to check/change the usb cable. Make sure the USB light (little blue led on the lower side of the Omega's front) isn't flashing but the light is constant.
You'll find it next to the mic input on the back of the Omega. If you're using a condenser mic (without, say, a preamp with phantom power), make sure the +48V button is pressed. Finally make sure the Meter Assign button between the Monitor Mix and Output Level knobs is switched to the correct channel. Then, just for whatever's sake, check that the Monitor button is down (Mono) if you're using just a guitar. Then check that the USB Assign button next to the channel volume knob is either up or down depending on which input you're using. If it's plugged in the back into one of the jack inputs, do the same for the appropriate channel volume knob.
If you have your guitar plugged into the Instrument input in the front of the Omega, turn the Line 3 volume knob to about the same. Are you using a preamp and/or rack effect with your guitar? If it's plugged in directly the output is often really quiet.įirst, turn the Monitor Mix and Output Level knobs to about 10 to twelve o'clock.
